The Bangladesh Journal of Cardiovascular Intervention (BJCI) is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly publishing. Authorship should accurately reflect individuals who have made substantial intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript. All authors are expected to adhere to the authorship criteria established by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and the ethical principles endorsed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
BJCI follows the ICMJE Recommendations, which state that authorship should be based on all of the following four criteria:

Suspected authorship misconduct will be investigated following the journal's publication ethics policies and COPE guidelines. Where appropriate, the journal may request clarification, reject the manuscript, publish a correction, or retract the article.
